Duties & Responsibilities
- Prepare and implement course outline and schemes of work must be complete within the first two (2) weeks of the term and update records of work on daily basis.
- Ensure that students are taught and their syllabus covered within the stipulated time.
- Ensure that students who have enrolled for the courses you train attend training sessions by maintaining student’s class attendance register.
- Prepare assignments and examinations for the student groups you train.
- Administer/ Supervise related practical lessons.
- Participate in extra curriculum activities organized by the institution.
- Evaluate, mark and submit student marks to the Exam`s office as per the stipulated time.
- Be a team player in making the campus achieve highest possible academic results.
- Contribute to student learning, growth and advancement
- Demonstrate academic competence in the subject area(s) and build a curriculum
- Maintain a growth mindset toward student learning and teaching practice
- Facilitate problem-solving with a curious mind and critical thinking skills
- Teaching skills to improve academic performance, including study strategies, note-taking skills and approaches to answering test questions
- Liaising with external assessors, examiners, institutions and certifying bodies for the purpose of compliance, In addition, ensure no examination irregularities occurs
- Drafting and implementing examination procedures policies
- Oversee the development and implementation of Examination
- Supervising administration of examinations
- Coordinate the production of draft/final examination papers and ensure that examination papers and documentation are securely stored as per examination board requirements
- Liaise with the External Examiner(s) to obtain feedback on the draft examinations papers Liaise with Departmental Boardof Examiners on the approval process and procedures for examination marks and grades
- Dealing with post results enquiries, processing and communicating this to departments and parents
- Coordinate Marking and Grading of Examinations
Qualifications
- Degree in Interior Design or related field
- Extraordinary professional experience in interior design.
- Creative design skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Excellent attention to detail
- Logical thinking skills
- Registerted with Tvet As a Trainer
- Great communication skill
