The Animation & Digital Media Level 6 qualification prepares learners to become competent, industry-ready animators capable of creating compelling visual stories across 2D, 3D, motion graphics, and digital media platforms. This program blends classical animation techniques—such as hand drawing, character conceptualization, and storyboarding—with advanced digital production tools used in today’s global animation and film industries.

Learners are trained to develop animation scripts, design characters, compose immersive backgrounds, produce 2D and 3D animation, create motion graphics, develop audio for animation, and apply professional editing and compositing techniques. The course also emphasizes ethical practice, entrepreneurship, communication, and industry-aligned production workflows.

Training is delivered in accordance with the CBET Framework, KNQA Standards, the TVET Act No. 29 of 2013, and recognized animation industry practices. SCAAD College supports learning through well-equipped digital media labs, high-performance computers, licensed animation software, drawing tools, audio production kits, and modern 2D/3D animation equipment.

INDUSTRY TRAINING

Every learner must complete 480 hours of supervised industrial attachment in animation, film, gaming studios, advertising agencies, or digital media firms. This experience strengthens workplace readiness and exposes learners to real production pipelines.
