Sanuk college of Arts and designs (SCAAD) Offers various certificate courses in interior design, Graphics Design, Landscaping Design, Construction Management, Project Management, Information Communication Technology and Architectural Designs. SCAAD College is tailored towards offering Competency Based Education and Training-CBET courses. Skills are as important as experience and knowledge. Certificate courses prepares a learner for both job market and career progression to diploma level and Degree. We offer the following courses:

Certificate in Architecture

Certificate course in Architecture prepares you for a job market. It is Practical oriented. This certificate course is equips the learner with requisite knowledge in Building and Design as well as understanding the process involved in constructions . It forms a further training in the building industry. This course prepares you for a diploma course.

Course Duration

This course has two modules. It takes a duration of 6 months excluding attachment.

Requirements

- KCSE Mean Grade D and Above

- Any other Qualification as may be determined by KNQA

Career Progression

A student who has successfully completed Certificate course in Architecture is qualified to do Diploma course unto Degree level in the same field.

Careers in this field includes: Consultancy in Architecture, Project Managers assistance, Building Control Surveyor, Urban designer, Fire Risk Assessor, CAD Technician

Certificate in Interior Design

Career Progression

After successful completion of the course, trainees can join employment, consult, execute projects and venture in to business in the Interior Design industry.

CERTIFICATE IN ICT

This programme offered at SCAAD college intends to equip Learners with a wide range of software, technical and technological ICT skills required in the industry. At the end of this course , a student is required to solve issues related to ICT in the lower level.

The course will equip learners with skills required to solve busyness challenges on ICT basis, provide software required and technological framework to undertake the businesses.
